Small rooms, comfortable atmosphere, beautiful view
The owners own 2 hotels in Trinidad CO. Understaffed, rooms are atrocious! They will charge what they want. So don't expect the $80 a night. $25 a night pet fee, along with any other fee they can come up with.
Highly recommend this bare bones hotel! It's extremely clean, beds are comfy, and the price is right!!! Also, staff are helpful and friendly!! I left my phone charger in the room, and they actually had it waiting for me when I returned unannounced almost 2 weeks later!!!

The owner takes pride in his work and it shows with the condition and cleanliness of the rooms. He'll fully explain the total price and how you will be charged. Beds are made with skill and the bedding is extremely clean. Also you'll pay less in fees and taxes since it is outside city limits. Great views of the Sangre De Cristo range and almost instant access to the interstate and Fishers Peak State Park. You could pay more in Trinidad but I don't know why you would.
